Cadence’s Kettlebell class hits a sweet spot for me. I’m in my mid-40’s and have a kid. My main goals are to get strong, stay strong and stay mobile. I love the feeling of lifting with kettlebells (which I had never done before) and working with my own body weight. I appreciate the mobility work so much - it helps us move and do what we need to do in everyday life. This is something that might be overlooked when we are younger and getting our kicks on trapezes or something but it’s so, so important for feeling good in our bodies as they get older.
Cadence has a no-bs down-to-earthness and humor that works for me. It’s not fussy, it’s not like some “system” or “method” that we have to buy into. It’s just getting our bodies to work.
