Fascia Release sessions with studio owner Cadence Dubus, are restorative bodywork using the practitioners hands, as well as various self massage tools. The participant is clothed and there is no oil or lubricant used (or whale music). Sessions are designed to bring the body back to its natural state of pain free efficiency. Pain and restricted movement due to trauma, scar tissue, fascial adhesions, chronic inflammation, posture and chronic compressive lifestyle habits are released often quickly and with more ease than expected. Using a combination of Anatomy Trains/Structural Integration, Alexander Technique, and Experiential Anatomy assessment, we bring the body back to its innate state of comfort. The body is reorganize and integrated in relationship to gravity. Pain-free range of motion is restored and inefficient movement patterns replaced with healthy ones.
